From Midway Airport:
Take Cicero Ave. North to I-55. Take I-55 Northwest to I-94. Take I-94
North to downtown Chicago and exit at Ohio Street, Exit 50-B. Proceed
east on Ohio Street for seven blocks to Wabash Street. Turn left on
Wabash Street and continue for seven blocks. Turn left on Chestnut
Street. Sofitel Chicago Water Tower will be on your right at 20 East
Chestnut Street at Wabash Street.
From Michigan:
Take I-90/94 to downtown Chicago and exit at Ohio Street, Exit 50-B. Proceed
east on Ohio Street for 7 blocks to Wabash Street. Turn left on Wabash Street
and continue for 7 blocks. Turn left on Chestnut Street. Sofitel Chicago Water
Tower will be on your right at 20 East Chestnut at Wabash Street.
From Indiana:
Take I-65 to I-90, West. It will turn into I-90/94 to downtown Chicago and
exit at Ohio Street, Exit 50-B. Proceed east on Ohio Street for 7 blocks to
Wabash Street. Turn left on Wabash Street and continue for seven blocks. Turn
left on Chestnut Street. Sofitel Chicago Water Tower will be on your right at
20 East Chestnut at Wabash Street.
From Iowa:
Take I-80 or I-88 East to I-290 East. Take I-290 East, Eisenhower Expressway
into downtown Chicago. Go to State Street - make a left and head north on State
Street for about 20 blocks. At Pearson Street make a right, and continue one
block to Wabash and make a left. The next corner is Wabash and Chestnut, and
as you will turn left onto Chestnut, Sofitel will be the first building on
your right.
From Wisconsin:
Take I-94 to downtown Chicago and exit at Ohio Street, Exit 50-B. Proceed east
on Ohio Street for 7 blocks to Wabash Street. Turn left on Wabash Street and
continue for seven blocks. Turn left on Chestnut Street. Sofitel Chicago

From the North: North Suburban, IL / Kenosha, Racine & Milwaukee, WI
Take I-94 Illinois Tollway South to the Edens Expressway (also I-94). The Edens will join with I-90. Continue on I-94 / I-90 East to downtown Chicago. Exit on Ohio Street and continue eight blocks to Michigan Avenue. Turn left on Michigan Avenue and continue six blocks to Chestnut Street. Turn left onto Chestnut Street, the hotel is on the right just past Rush Street.
From the Northwest: Rockford
Follow the signs going East indicating "Downtown Chicago" (also I-90 Kennedy Expressway). For your information, I-90 joins with I-94, so continue East on I-90 / I-94 to downtown Chicago. Exit on Ohio Street and continue eight blocks to Michigan Avenue. Turn left on Michigan Avenue and continue six blocks to Chestnut Street. Turn left onto Chestnut Street, the hotel is on the right just past Rush Street.
From the South: Kankakee & Champagne / Urbana
Take I-57 North to join in with I-90 / I-94 (also Dan Ryan Expressway). Continue on I-90 / I-94 to downtown Chicago. Exit on Ohio Street and continue eight blocks to Michigan Avenue. Turn left on Michigan Avenue and continue six blocks to Chestnut Street. Turn left onto Chestnut Street, the hotel is on the right just past Rush Street.
From the Southwest: Joliet, Bloomington / Normal, Peoria & Springfield
Take I-55 North (also Stevenson Expressway) towards downtown Chicago. When nearing downtown Chicago, take I-90 / I-94 North towards O'Hare. Exit on Ohio Street and continue eight blocks to Michigan Avenue. Turn left on Michigan Avenue and continue six blocks to Chestnut Street. Turn left onto Chestnut Street, the hotel is on the right just past Rush Street.
From the West: DeKalb, Wheaton & Western Suburbs
Take I-88 East-West Tollway East to Chicago and onto I-290 (Eisenhower Expressway). Take I-290 East to downtown Chicago. I-290 feeds into the Congress Parkway. Take the Congress Parkway East to Michigan Avenue and continue North over the Chicago River Bridge to Huron street. Turn left onto Huron Street and then right onto Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Chestnut Street, the hotel is on the right just past Rush Street.
